The pupils and staff travelled to St Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick on Thursday 13th October for the Diocesan Schools Service. This was the first time in four years that the service has been held and it was wonderful to be back in the cathedral meeting the pupils from the other schools around the diocese. Well done to Siún and Kirill for reading prayers so clearly and to Aidan for helping with the collection.

We all enjoyed listening to Rev Linda’s address about Stone Soup and there was great excitement as the children searched around the cathedral for the missing ingredients of her soup.

Thank you to everyone who helped arrange the service and for all their work in its preparation.

Following the service we stopped at O’Mahony’s Bookshop where all the children chose a new book for the school library.
