Art Exhibition
We will visit the Art Centre in Rathkeale on the afternoon of 11th May to view some of the works of Rathkeale artist Jack Donovan. On display are some portraits of some of the key figures in the 1916 Rising and subsequent War of Independence. The exhibition will be open for the month of May.
Villiers Sports Day
One of the highlights of our sporting year is the annual inter primary schools sports day in Villiers School, Limerick. Our senior pupils will join with the pupils of surrounding schools for a wonderful day of activity on Tuesday 24th May.
School Tour
Our school tour will take place on Friday 27th May. This year we will visit King John’s Castle in Limerick, try our hand at some cupcake design in the Woodlands House Hotel, Adare followed by a swim.
New Language Curriculum
School will close at 12 noon on Friday 10th June to facilitate a staff information meeting on the new language curriculum.
Sponsored Cycle
Pupils will take part in a sponsored cycle on Saturday 11th June, money raised will go towards school funds. The route of the cycle will follow the Great Southern Trail from Ardagh to Rathkeale.
Sports Day
Our school sports day will take place on Friday 17th June, weather permitting.
