We welcomed Geoff Hunt to school on Tuesday 19th October. Geoff is a regular visitor to the school and it was great to see him once again. Geoff worked with the children on biodiversity and focused on the trees surrounding the school. We learned the names of 11 species of trees in the locality and how to identify them. Geoff also spoke about what a tree needs to grow, photosynthesis and uses of trees. We went on a walk about and did a survey of the trees in the school yard and neighbouring church yard.
