Once again we joined the International Women’s Day walk in Rathkeale . The sun shone and the drums played as we walked from the square to Rathkeale House Hotel. We are extremely proud of our 5th and 6th class girls ; Beatrice, Serena, Lily and Ailísh who composed a brilliant poem to mark the day. Not only did they present the poem to a packed audience at Rathkeale House Hotel, they also read it out for Live 95 FM who posted it on their social media pages .
We were delighted to be part of such a lovely community event .
